It is a magical time of year when kindness and good will permeates the air and Kapolei City Lights is where it all begins on the leeward side of Oahu. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with food booths, games for the children and entertainment. This is the 10th annual Kapolei City Lights, a tradition born to celebrate Christmas and community. There will be a parade at 6:00 p.m., the lights will be turned on by Mayor Carlisle at 7:45, and the entire event will be capped off by a fireworks display at dusk.
